Insurance & Paying for Services
We are currently in network with the following insurance carriers:
- BCBS
- State Health Plan of NC
- Medicare (Dr. Anderson)
- Aetna
We will file claims with your insurance carrier for services rendered, even with non-participating plans (e.g. Cigna, United Healthcare, Magellan, Medcost, etc.). Many plans have out of network (non-participating provider) benefits. It is the client's responsibility to know the details of their plan benefits (deductible, copay/coinsurance, covered services, etc.) and what they are obligated to pay. They are also responsible to provide any new or updated insurance information to their provider in a timely manner to avoid delayed and rejected claims. This information typically changes at the beginning of the policy year and upon new employment.
Payment is due at each session.
